filipa andrade

I love games — board games, card games, video games, and small puzzles I can play on a screen or a kitchen table. Backgammon is my favourite. I build little ones in my spare time.

penguin jokes

A small site of penguin-themed jokes. New ones added every now and then.

backgammon

Easy to learn, with no ceiling on strategy. The dice mean anyone can beat a grandmaster in a single game — though the better player wins in the long run. Games are short, every position has a best move a computer can find, and reviewing a match afterwards is the fastest way I know to actually improve.

backgammon notes

Strategy, cube decisions, openings & more — things I learn and want to keep within reach.
